Similarly, tier-2 and tier-3 cities are seeing growing adoption of appointment-based deliveries, ensuring packages arrive when customers are available, even in areas with less predictable infrastructure.

Globally, companies are combining speed and flexibility to set new benchmarks. In the U.S., Instacart uses AI to offer personalized delivery slots tailored to shopper schedules, and Ocado’s robotic systems enable same-day grocery deliveries with unmatched accuracy.
