About ABX Express
Headquartered in Malaysia, ABX Express was launched in 1984 as a courier delivery services provider. The company made its first delivery to EM Labuan and hasn't stopped ever since.
By 1985, the company started servicing east Malaysia, making on-time deliveries and creating a loyal customer base for its future expansions and projects. In 1991, the company hit its first milestone by spreading its services all-over Malaysia. The company worked hard throughout, and by 2016 it was ready to enter the eCommerce world.
In 2016, ABX Express launched its first and one-of-a-kind customer ePortal called Smartship Web to help customers get through the service providers on time. The same year it became a member of the Kerry Logistics Network (KLN), and three years down the line, came up with its first parcel shop in Kenanga Mall. The same year, it announced that it was planning to expand with over a hundred brands nationwide.
Witnessing success in its customer ePortal the company decided to come up with a new portal, this time an online shopping one. In 2020, ABX Express launched EasyShip, its exclusive online shopping website. The next year it came up with two more new digital services, namely FOD and COD. The same year ABX Express became the global agent of SF international and marked its first step into the international courier services line. And finally, in 2022, under rebranding, the company named itself KEX Express, making a major twist in its business lineup.
Today, the company has over 720 domestic service locations and more than 3000 employees in Malaysia alone. As for its global reach, the company has service facilities in over 200 countries and territories and a strong network of 3200 employees based in different parts of the world.
